I Love This Place

We have been so busy this week; too busy to blog. I am posting a few photos of the country that has given us two beautiful children. Most of these were taken on our way to Lugansk. I like to call these particular ones: Ukraine, from the window of a car going 90 miles an hour.

Moving Right Along

The Passports Made It

The passports made it to Kyiv. I just talked to Colton and they made it to JFK. We worked on paperwork in Lugansk today and had a great visit with R. Hats off again to our facilitators who have made everything go so smoothly and who took care of the passport problem. They are the best! Photos will follow soon.

Need Prayers

Its 11:30 PM here in Lugansk and we need your prayers. Colton and Luke stayed in Kyiv and have a flight home at 10:50 in the morning. Unfortunately, I left with their passports. We just hired a cab driver to take the passports back to Kyiv, a 10 hour drive. Please pray the passports arrive. And on time. Colton has an internship in Los Angeles this summer and his flight out of Montgomery is scheduled for Wednesday. Thanks for praying.

A Blessed Week

We have had a whirlwind week. We had our SDA appointment and have finished all of our paperwork here and are now waiting on a court date. Everyone we have dealt with has been kind and helpful. Our facilitator and his team are awesome! We will leave on Sunday to drive out to Lugansk and start our paperwork there. We are looking forward to seeing our youngest son. Hope to be able to post pictures from there. God's lovingkindness and attention to detail is evident all around us. To Him be all the honor and glory.

Futbol champs

Sunday afternoon we were blessed to be able to attend a soccer game at another school. The boys at the internat had played against this school ealier and had beaten them 4-2 so this school wanted a rematch on their home field. So much for the home field advantage. My favorite soccer team won 11-4 this time! They are such good soccer players. I know it is because they spend countless hours day after day playing soccer.

The weather has been warm until yesterday when it was cold, rainy and windy for the soccer game. Go figure. Once again today it is sunny and warm.
